When you’re from Macon, Georgia—a city that gave the world rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Little Richard and the soul-stirring sounds of Otis Redding—it’s almost as if musical talent runs through the water. Macon’s rich musical heritage now welcomes its latest emerging force within the hip-hop and soul genres: KhaoticKayy.

Drawing inspiration from genre greats like Tupac Shakur, Lil Wayne, and Lauryn Hill, KhaoticKayy found her voice amidst life’s chaos. Since the age of 13, she has been putting pen to paper, amassing over 670 songs that capture her experiences and emotions with raw honesty.

Her journey has been anything but ordinary. “I’ve experienced more than the average person,” she reflects. “From being a single young mother of two girls to surviving being shot eight times and flatlining seven times.
